About ActivTimes

Natalie Davis

The ActivTimes Consulting team is led by Natalie B. Davis ACC, who entered the life enrichment profession in 1974 as an activity specialist at Golden Acres, The Dallas Home for Jewish Aged.

The principle that has influenced the development of the company comes from the work of the elder care pioneer, Dr. Herbert Shore PhD.

“Through a relationship, all things are possible, without one, nothing.”

With over 40 years of service in the activity profession, Natalie Davis brings history, change and vision to ActivTimes Consulting.

L.I.F.E

ActivTimes embraces the L.I.F.E. philosophy that was established at the Dallas Home for Jewish Aged.

Love is essential to life, regardless of age.

Interest means involvement, interaction, identity, to be interested and interesting. If one is to live, he must have an interest in life. When an individual ceases to have a function, he loses his identity. If one has interest, he can interact and have interpersonal relationships.

Fulfillment means finding satisfaction in being, in creating, in meeting the demands of life.

Enrichment means growing, evolving, experiencing, expanding one’s horizons; satisfying the needs for intrinsic values and social enhancement.
