Selling the Value of Life Enrichment

This workshop focuses on elevating the perceived value of activity programs in care settings. Participants will learn to identify the components of a dynamic activity program and understand how different stakeholders perceive it. Through practical tools and strategies, attendees will refine their communication, language, and image presentation to effectively promote the program's therapeutic benefits. This session empowers activity professionals to advocate for their work, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for residents.

By the end of the Zoom training participants will be able to

1. Articulate the therapeutic value of activity programs by using outcome-based language and descriptive terms that highlight resident benefits.

2. Develop a communication strategy to educate staff, families, and residents on the purpose and impact of activity programs.

3. Design program descriptions and promotional materials that are motivational.
