The Saturday Series

An Update for All Prior Students of the Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals

The “Saturday Series” is an update session designed to help support the continuing education and mentoring of activity professionals who have successfully completed the Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals. It is designed as a consultation workshop: creative problem solving will be used to address individual situations. Participants will come with questions related to the topic and will be prepared to discuss questions relevant to their working situation. Each session will be comprised of the following:

  • Discussion of industry “best practices” related to the topic
  • Presentation of research and empirical studies
  • Collaboration of task groups to analyze and apply concepts specifically to their level of care
  • Structured networking opportunities to share approaches and resources
